Badges

Badges by Angel Law

Let me count how many badges I have got.
One, two, three,four, five, six.
ENGLISH AMBASSODOR, PREFECT, I.T. TEAM, STUDENT LIBRARIAN, BBS, plus the school badge.
When I put them altogether, they will all messily mix.

Seeing them as the greatest artwork in the world,
People honourably show their admiration
And surprise to me for so many posts I've got,
Which are certain kinds of nice reputation.

Touching the badges, fine, well-made.
Silver metals, shiny, smooth and bright.
With the words tidily printed on each badge,
Colliding all of them together, the sound is so crispy and alright.

Once I grasp it with an unexpectable force,
Blood starts dripping slowly off my hand.
Oops, I was hurt by the little needle behind the badge, so painful and aching.
Immediately throw them onto the land.

Badges are similar to social status, attractive but often evil.
Greed deceives our eyes, usually makes us blind.
People with ability might not be hurt by it
But beware of it since it could swallow your mind.
